I would like to be able to wile away the time carving out fonts on my pocket pc. Is this possible with any program out today? It should be simple enough, just a blocky grid with on off status, and then the ability to step through character map and save as a font.

Thoughts :?:

Thanks

You're thinking of bitmap fonts (the on/off grid). They're not much used these days, since TrueType is the standard for PPC devices and Windows PC's. TrueType is vector based (angles and such), which allows scaling without getting the jaggies. Due to the complexity of vector font creation, I'd be suprised to find such a program for the PPC. I believe CorelDraw for the PC allows font creation (it used to, but I haven't checked the current version).
