Cannot delete icons from Games

Forgive me if this is a newbie kind of question...

I have 2 places that games are installed on my Pocket PC. One appears automatically in the Start Menu. This is where I cannot delete icons that point nowhere. I have uninstalled the games, but the icons are still there. I have tried looking in the File Explorer, but I can only find the My Device > Program Files > Games. This is not where the icons are seen.

Any thoughts?

icons should be in the (file explorer) windows > start menu folder
