I was just given an IPAQ 3850 with a iPAQ PC Card Expansion Pack Plus. I looked on HP's website and it says "Access your company's wireless network (WLAN) for e-mail and Web browsing" but I didn't see anything else about it. I have my laptop's WiFi NIC but the 3850 doesn't see it when it's inserted. Am I missing a step or is there no way to make it work?

You my need drivers. Check the card's website to see if there are PocketPC drivers available.

You definately do need drivers for any Wireless PCMCIA card. And as was mentioned the card manufacturer would have to supply them. I expect that will be a less common thing to find these days, as HP is retireing the sleeve concept. There likely won't be many (or any) PPCs that can take a PC card soon.

Yep just my luck, can't find ANY PPC drivers for the Linksys WPC11!
So, does anyone have any suggestions?
Anyone else use a PCMCIA in their 3050?
