Ok, so I decided to give Agile Mobile Messenger a whirl on my Wifi-enabled iPaq. Cool software when I am connected to a Wifi network... not so cool when I am not. The watcher program is constantly searching for a connection and I randomly get status messages from it telling me the internet is unavailable (despite the fact that I had the Autostart option turned off.

I want to remove the program from my system, but the watcher.exe program is constantly loading into memory at startup. I can't find a way to keep this from happening, and thus.. can't remove the damned thing from my PDA.

Can anyone offer some advice?

Thanks!

Goto Settings - Running Programs and click on the CLose All button.
Then uninstall the program.

Tried it... it doesn't show it as a running program, but it appears on the Today screen.

Check your settings and make sure the Today screen (start, settings, today, items) component is unchecked. Soft reset, then try again. Also, make sure the startup folder doesn't have anything in it...
