I'm going to try it tonight when I have all weekend to recover :) . I've only had a PPC for a couple of months, and we've had 2 ROM updates. Is this normal?

Does this ROM update require hard reset? Then I will pass. I rebuilt the system just last weekend.

Yes, this update will wipe out all data on your device...

I can't say that it is during a two month time span. But I'm not complaining as a fix is a fix.

Could be a conscious effort on the part of HP to prove that support for the current line-up is not disappearing, even though they have announced the decision to not provide an upgrade to the new OS.
