Hiya kids! With the proliferation of hot spots in my area (NY), even in my office, :lol: I've decided to make the little baby wifi-ready. Any rec's? :helpme: I've never used wireless internet access before. :oops: Do I have to do anything special about setting it up or just shove in the card & find a live spot?

I just got a CompactFlash 802.11b Wi-Fi adapter from www.meritline.com. Cost only US32. Installed the driver, inserted it in my 2210, and I was surfing. A few clicks and I was sending and receiving email.

I see in other threads some rec's about software for "sniffing" hot spots. Once I get some practice in this I can post tips here in case other newbies are also searching. Any other volunteers? :grouphug:

So I ordered one of these cards and for some reason the "new driver" isn't helping. I download it, unzip it and it acts like its going fine but the Active sync screen where it loads doesn't quite seem to finish and nothing happens. I have a hp 2215 and I thought I would be ok is there a trick I'm missing?

Hey, Gary. I've ordered one too, but hasn't been delivered yet. Hopefully someone here has ideas. Best tip I've read so far (on every brand) is to go to the manufacturer's site for an updated driver.

Also, another user posted a link to his site with detailed instructions for a SanDisk card on a 2210. Evidently I haven't used it yet, but here goes anyway. Please keep us posted on what happens, ok?
