I have tried to do a hard reset my pressing the 2 and 4 buttons and trying to get the stylus and do the back. It doesn't work. Is there any other way to do a hard reset? :?:

It DOES WORK if it is done according to the instructions.
Take a look at this thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28055&highlight=hard+reset) for more information.

Do it the easy way. Take the battery out for an hour or so. When you replace the battery, and the Ipaq starts out with the alignment screen routine, then you know you've done a hard reset.

Just one warning. At this point you might have a fully charged battery, but the backup battery is discharged, so, put it back on the charger for a bit before you play with it.

It's impossible to do (I have small hands and fingers!). I'll just take out the battery for an hour.

Do it the easy way. Download these freewares from:

http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/hardresetforpocketpc.shtml

http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/softresetforpocketpc.shtml

Both are very small programs and work great.

Good luck.
