Well.. I've done a ton of searching and reading, and everything I've found says that the e310 doesnt support any sort of wifi card at all.

Since the most up to date post was months old, I was just wondering if this has changed at all?

Anyway to get my e310 wifi compatible?

I apologize.

In my head, I thought not everyone reading this forum, would also be reading the wireless forum.

This site is huge, and thought that it would be okay.

No problem. I had to learn as well. I can't really answer your question as I have never had a e-310, but, someone trolling the Toshiba forums may have an answer.

Welcome xTravBx!

I removed the duplicate post so that we can keep the conversation going here.

To your question, I can't recall the 310's specs offhand, but if it doesn't have SDIO, then you won't be able to get WiFi running. :(

I believe the e310's did have SDIO...

It has SDIO but its not SDIO Now! compliant...

Do all those SDIO cards require SDIO Now!

Just did a little poking on Google Groups and found this (http://groups.google.ca/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&threadm=401ED2D7.3090505%40terra.com.br&rnum=5&prev=/groups%3Fq%3Dtoshiba%2Be310%2Bwifi%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26selm%3D401ED2D7.3090505%2540terra.com.br%26rnum%3D5):

The e310 only has proprietary SDIO, meaning that only Toshiba's SDIO
expansion cards (e.g. Toshiba SD bluetooth) will work. It does not
support SDIO Now! This goes for all of the Toshiba PDA's up until the
e400 and e800 series, which do support SDIO Now!

The current SDIO WiFi cards require SDIO Now!, so they won't work on
the e310.

It's a relatively new post, from February.

Unfortunately it doesn't look great for you unless there's been something new in the last few months. :(
