What is new about that? THere is a lot of software that can rip music from CDs and convert to wma or mp3 or other formats, convert between formats, etc. Much of this software is absolutely free.
If you are discussing recording lmusic live directly to mp3, there is a lot of software that can do that, including PPC software, like the Alexander Zavorine (sp?) software (free), Vito Sound Explorer (shareware),etc.

Well with one click, Replay Music can record streaming music, including songs from Napster,Music Match Radio,Radio@Netscape,Yahoo's Launch,AOL Radio,AccuRadio,Ad-free Internet radio (i.e. Shoutcast) and tags it as it goes, its not a ripper for CDs. I know there is alot of free solutions out there to do that.
