For those of us with PDA's not able to upgrade to WM2003 SE... what is the best software for getting a Pocket PC (2002 or 2003) to display in landscape mode?

I used to use JS Landscape (http://www.jimmysoftware.com/NL/Landscape3/index.html) but noticed that it doesn't support WM 2003.

Any other recommendations?

You could also check out NYDITOT (http://www.nyditot.com/). I'm pretty sure it support 2003.

Yes, Nyditot runs fine on WM2003, but a word of warning. Not all features in WM2003 work properly in landscape mode (e.g. the password login interface) so you will get cutting off of the bottom 80 pixels if the program was designed for portrait mode.

i was waiting for the windows mobile 2003 update just for landscape mode like crazy but after reading the articles about the landscape mode i realized that this is not a big improvement.
and if you think of nydiot you have to soft reset just to change the orientation! i'll never use this program

There wasn't a landscape program that you didn't have to soft reset, so that is a universal issue. If I recall correctly Nyditot (and others) did allow dynamic virtual resolution changes within an orientation, so that may still be useful to some.

I guess I should mention dotPocket (http://www.dotpocket.com/)

I tried it. It seems to be just about like NYDITOT.
