Trying to Install Media Player

Cant seem to find a link for it on MS's website. I did find 7.1 else where but i cant seem to install it says its the wrong version for my device.

I have an Hp 1910 no companion CD so i cant reinstall anything from that.

I don't know if you are looking for Media Player 8, as that is probably the proper one for your device. But it is worth a shot. The desktop installer is available on this site:
