Now you can deactivate the double pixeling feature of Windows Mobile 2003 SE in VGA devices in individual programs without having to edit the program in anyway. So you are not violeting the Copyright laws any more!

There is the screen shot of Acrobat Reader with double pixels (QVGA Mode):

and here is the screen shot without double pixeling

Can you see the difference?

And you can do this using Tweaks2K2 .NET (http://www.pc-counselor.com/downloads.htm) without editing any EXE. This trick is going to work in any Pocket PC no matter in what language the ROM is, as long as it's a VGA using Windows Mobile 2003 SE.

Note: This new version also added support for Portuguese devices and the default keyboard skin for VGA devices.

Editing an executable on your own PC is not a violation of Copyright Law - it falls under both fair use and the right of first sale doctrine.

It may however be a violation of both the DMCA (which is unconstitutional, but I digress) and the software license you agree to prior to installation.

My personal opinion? If you're not intending to violate Copyright Law by distributing copies or use more than you paid for, hack away, if it will make the program run better.

May be it's not a violation of the copyright law, but if you read the User agreement you will find that You are Agree when using the program to not edit or change in anyway the executable or any of the files of the program. ;)
