Sometimes when I browse through my storage card through ActiveSync, some of the files and folders have incorrect sizes and crazy symbolic names. Is this just caused by a bad sector on the card? I seem to be having a lot more problems with my Kingston 512MB SD card, then with my other Sandisk cards.

Try formatting it with something like pocket mechanic.

Before you do that, try formatting it from your PC. Just right-click the drive and select "format".

Yeah, I'm going to do that, but I'd still like to try to get all the data off first. And I'd like to know what it's actually caused by, since it's for sure not the first time I've had this happen.

How is it that you're getting your card to show up as a drive letter by going through ActiveSync? Is there a feature that I don't know about?

Before you format, definitely try checking the card with a disk repair tool. I recovered some files I had lost by doing that.
Your card looks pretty corrupted, though, so I don't know how much you'll get back. Good luck. :)
In the future, I would strongly recommend making backups of your storage card(s) on your PC. I do that every now and then (and think I will right now :-D).

Judging by past experience, I'd say the card is corrupted ;)
(I didn't have quite that much stated storage but I was very, very disappointed to not be able to put that much stuff on the card :( )
