I have set up a Bluetooth network connection between my PPC and desktop.
So far I have found a few annoying things with Bluetooth
1) When using WIFI if you need to connect to the network or internet it you PPC automatically detects that WIFI is available and connects. With BT, I always have to turn Bluetooth on manually then go to the connection manager and connect to my desktop.
If I don’t do this, PIE doesn’t know how to get online. I wish that I could tell my PPC not to be shy and automatically connect to my desktop using the built in BT.
2) When I turn off my PCC with BT on I would like to have a setting that it will also shut off BT. This way, when I turn my PPC back on, BT would be off. So if I just want to look up a phone number or something later on, I don’t have the blue light blinking.
3) If BT is on when you turn your PPC, why doesn’t it just connects to your PAN just as wifi used to do on my old ipaq? Bluetooth sometimes is on but not connected to anything. Why?
Thanks
