I KNOW I sound like a TOTAL newb, and I am - but PLEASE ... help!
I have an IPAQ 1910
I had it running the .Net Framework (that so many Apps require) but when I got it back after sending it in for a repair, it was gone.
How do I reinstall it?
I tried downloading from Microsoft, but I got a folder with a TON of zip files and I don't have a clue what to do with them all.
Any suggestions??
Don

In fact you should be looking for the .Net Compact Framework. I think it is already installed in the rom of that device but if you want to download the latest version here's the link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=359ea6da-fc5d-41cc-ac04-7bb50a134556&displaylang=en
It should auto-install to the device if it's connected.
I believe that the name ARM is the cpu name like Penthium or Athlon, and XScale is a technology that allows the device to lower its clock speed (MHz), when it is not needed, to reduce power use.
I hope this helps!

Just for trivia's sake, the 1910 has Pocket PC 2002 and does not have the .NET CF preinstalled.

arm stands for Advanced Risc Machine-Microproccessor
xscale is a specialized type of arm cpu. so all xscales are arm but all arms are not xscale, got that?
