EUU 1.20 or WM2003?

Hi,

I got a Compaq iPaq 3835 a couple fo years ago that came with PPC2002. Some months ago i upgraded to WM2003. When i do a soft reset, in the lower right corner of the Compaq logo it says 4.0. My question is, do i still need the EUU 1.20 rom update or is this irrelevant since i'm running WM2003? I find the entire issue somewhat confusing.

As it states, this is for the Pocket PC 2002 ROM for the iPAQ 38xx units. You definitely shouldn't try to install this on WM2003. (In theory, they've rolled the fixes into the WM2003 upgrade.)

Does that mean that i should expect a new rom update for WM2003 any time soon?

No - I mean they probably rolled those old fixes into the WM2003 update you installed on your iPAQ.

I wouldn't expect any further ROM updates for the iPAQ 38xx units -- they're end-of-life.
