Hi,

I would like to buy a new Pocket PC, but I don't know if I should take the iPAQ 4150 or Dell X30 high.
The price right now is pretty the same and I also don't care that much of CPU speed.

Right now I prefer the iPAQ because of its design and small formfactor, but it has no Windows Mobile 2003 SE and this yellow tintsh.
Is it really worth to go for the X30, because it has a better display and WM 2003 SE? But what also worries me a little bit are the issues of the X30 like screen sensitivity....

What would you recommend?

Honestly? HP is about to release a whole new array of devices - wait a few weeks and you'll be able to make a decision with more options. :-)

Between the two, I prefer the 4150.

between the two, i would prefer x30 because it has more built-in storage and WM2003 SE. plus if you dont care about CPU speed, you can buy 300MHZ version and save up to 100$. good deal

I would say the X30 too, but on the Aximsite people are saying that it takes about a little less than a month for you to get it. I think the reason is that it's taking a while for Dell to get certain parts for the X30 High, not the mid though.

Ok, the new devices are out now, but I still would go for the IPAQ 4150 because of its small form factor. The IPAQ4150 is now 350$, the X30high ~320$ in CA. I really don't know what the big advantage of more built-in storage and WM2003 SE is. I think the landscape mode is only good for web surfing but do I really need this?? Makes it surfing that much easier?
