I am currently using a HP IPAQ h4150 pocket pc with windows mobile 2003.
I notice that the Pocket IE supports only some languages but not Chinese. When I enter into a chinese website, what i see is not chinese character unlike our desktop pc.

May I know if there is any way to make the pocket pc support Chinese language in the Pocket IE?

Thanks!

Kah Chong.

The most likely reason why your desktop PC can show Chinese characters is because you have the fonts installed to view it. Although it's not always 100% necessary to have these fonts installed, in most cases you need it to be able to see all the characters properly.

The only way I've tried which worked for me was to install the Chinese fonts used on the PC on the PPC. You can copy them to \Windows\Fonts or alternatively on a memory card and use a program such as FontOnStorage to access them.
