Remote control application that is compatible with hp iPaq 1930?

Hi all,

I own a HP iPaq 1930 and I am looking for a remote conrol program for my device, I have tried many demos but none of them was compatiable.

there are some programs out there but since the distance of your beam is not more than afew feets, it wont be usefull even if you find a compatible program

You mean that on the IR exit built in the 1930 is too weak?

Probably -- the iPAQ 1930 doesn't have "consumer IR", which likely gives it a range of a few feet at most. :|

Griffin Technology has a product (http://www.griffintechnology.com/griffinmobile/totalremote/) which uses the headphone jack, but it needs a 3.5mm jack, not a 2.5mm like the 1930's, so you'd have to get an adapter to use it.

You might want to Google for "iPAQ 1930 remote control" and see if someone has figured out a better solution.
