PocketGear and Spam

I don't know about anyone else, but since I started d/l'ing the free downloads from PocketGear, my Spam has increased greatly.

Coincidence?

I haven't noticed a change in my spam levels either since I signed up for Pocketgear. It's probably something else you're experiencing.

I haven't noticed it either, but then I did the smart thing and use my junk email account. I have an extra account that I never read unless I want to register with some web site that I suspect might spam me later. It's a real account, but I only check it when I need to confirm registration or do something like that.

Best possible use for a yahoo or hotmail account, in my opinion.

Yes. I get enormous amounts of spam from pocket gear. I am not kidding, I must get one message every 2 days, it is horrible.

I've haven't received any spam form PocketGear so far - and how do I know this - I used a unique email address when I signed up.
