Backlight stays off Toshiba e400

My Backlight won't come on when I power up, or soft boot. Before if I went to the backlight settings then it'd come on but now it stays off.

Idea's :?

Battery is charged full

On some Pocket PCs, holding down the power button toggles the backlight.

Apart from that, do a backup and then try a hard reset. If that fails, call Toshiba support -- there might be a hardware problem. :|
