So here is the deal, i am looking into purchasing another pda as i use to own a e740. My basic needs from it are surfing the net, msn and aim messanger, watching movies on the go, playing games now and then, using calender for work schedueling and ereader for a book now and then. I am looking into the e805 because it has the built in wifi and allows sd and cf cards. My question is, reading on some sites it showed that people were purchasing the 4155 instead of this, im guessing because of price since they thing they are getting the same thing..But would this be indeed the right pda for me? What is appealing to me the most is that i know the highere mhz is sometimes not what you want, the power control would let me set it down to 200 or so when i am not really looking for juice and which would give me a bit longer battery time..the 600$ will hurt me a bit but also being able to get to run in 480x640 seems like it could be quite nice, along with those ati graphics for my movies. Do you people agree with me in choosing this or is there something else that might do the job..And has there really been any problems with this? I was not aware of the defects on the e740 so that kinda bothered me!

Despite knowing whether ill be answered tonight or not i was wondering whether or not anyone has ordered from mpsuperstore.com? And whether or not a remanufactured e805 is the way to go? Comes with a 3 year waranty so thats about the only reason why i was thinking about it.

From the well over a dozen PDA´s I have used/owned this is by far the best machine I had EVER.

Go for it.

Agreed with Fishie, but two caveats:

1. The unit is fairly large. I find it reasonably comfortable in the hand, but if you have small hands you may disagree.

2. The d-pad is mediocre at best. I wouldn't consider it anywhere as good as the 4150's for gaming. Most games I play are screen-only, so this is non-essential for me.

But if you're doing primarily reading, PDA tasks, photo viewing, etc., the 4" VGA screen is awesome.
