Hello!

First, I lowered the price by $100. I'm selling my Mitac Mio 558 for $325 by itself, shipping included. If you want the 512mb secure digital card included with the PPC, the price will be $400 shipped.

I tried this before at $425 for the PPC by itself and $500 for the PPC + 512 SD card, but no one was interested. I wanna sell this since I got a laptop now, and am willing to take a bit more of a loss to try get back some money.

What is included:

-Mitac Mio 558 PPC w/Stylus
-Cradle and power adapter
-USB mini A to large A converter
-Manual

-512 Sandisk Secure Digital memory card

In the time I used it, I gotta say it is the ultimate PPC. It runs with the standard Windows Mobile 2003 OS. Not only does it have 802.11b wireless builtin, but it also has bluetooth and IR builtin as well. And yes, it is the good IR that can work as a remote control ( I used mine fine around 15 feet away from the TV). Not only does it have all the builtin wireless you could want, it also has BOTH compactflash memory slot AND secure digital memory slot. If that wasn't enough it has 64 megs of RAM for storage and an aditional entire 32 meg rom that you can store apps on, so a total of 96 writable megs!!! If that wasn't cool enough, it has a mini USB port (and the converter from mini to normal USB), meaning you can hookup a jumpdrive and access it on the pocket pc using file explorer, as I have done. Other neat features included are: Jog dial, record button, joypad (great for gaming), good recessed buttons, microphone, and headphone jack.

This Mitac Mio 558 has been used, but overall is still in good shape. I am the original owner. There are some scratches in a few areas in the paint, and on the right side the paint has worn a bit thin, but underneath the paint is grey plastic which fits in well with the silver paint, so you don't notice it much unless you look close. The screen still looks good, but I want to mention that at certain angles you can see some scratches. If your screen is turned on and infront of you you really don't notice it, unless you look at it at an angle. There are no loose parts, and it feels solid.

Pictures are linked below. Sorry no returns.

Feel free to Private message or ask me quesions here.

Thank you!

If I didn't already own my 2200 I would snatch this up in a second, quite the kick ass PDA. Supprised noone has bought it yet, maybe you should try ebay? set it up so it starts the auction sunday at 4PM central and runs for 7 days, with a very discriptive bold title, lots of pictures, and a "worldwide" shipping option. There isn't much in the way of mitac mio pda's on there, and rarley any that don't have bluetooth

thanks for the advice. I've thought about ebay and I don't want to rule it out, but the problem is I am not sure if enough people would find it. While I can atleast put it under the PPC category, I am not sure that a lot of people have heard of the Mitac PPC name, when compared to a HP or Toshiba.

hmm? are you sure? I've tried accessing my site from a couple ISP's (different DNS servers) and my pictures seem to come up fine. Maybe try again? If not, I can email them to you.

Thanks!

*edit, I did notice that picture 7 had a problem and fixed it. thanks for notifying me!*

no problem, picture 7 was having a problem though, so thanks.

A quick note. Picture 3 shows the slight skuff mark on the screen, but please check out picture 5 when the screen is turned on and right infront of you. You really don't notice the scuff marks unless you hold it at a specific angle and the lighting is just right, otherwise you don't really notice it.

Thanks
