any IR remote software work with Toshiba E755

Hay guys just want to know if any of you guys have any remote sofware that works on Toshiba E755, i have tried afew and all fail, newest i have tried is Novii remote, now when i start these programs and i try to press on or off button e.g a red blinker light flashs on my Pocket pc is this telling me the IR is being
used

anways any advice or help be great guys thanks
