http://www.blacksmithstudios.com/goninja.html

As you might expect, we get TONS of requests from people asking us to mention their applications on our front page. Most of these requests are pretty straightforward and mundane. We got a request from Blacksmith Studios, though, that was so unique that we just HAD to pass it on to you.

"We're broke college students who started developing games in college and liked it so much that we thought we would try and make a living off of it. I would love to give free copies of GoNinja to all of your editors and staff. However, my stomach will eat itself soon, and then the rest of my team will devourer me. My hope in writing this is that you will give us a brief moment of your blessed time and review GoNinja. It would make our programmers cry to see our game in bask in the glory of Pocket PC Thoughts."

Wow. How can you argue with such blatant flattery?

In any event, their new game, GoNinja, does look kind of cool. Here's how the game's author describes how the game plays:

"The basic objective is to keep the Ninjas balanced. When you have a Ninja surrounded by the opposite color, the surrounded ninja will cut down the ones around it. Its kind of like surrounding Bruce Lee and he kills everyone around him. After a ninja kills two of the opposite color he moves along the spiral on the board. Once you get the hang of it it is really fun. So much fun that we had a hard time testing it. We would just forget what we were trying to do."

You can get a free demo or the full version from the Blacksmith site. BUT, the developers are offering an incentive to you, our readers. The game usually sells for $14.95, but if you enter "GoNi0987" in the coupon section when buying the game, you'll save $5!!
