Hi,

I am getting a Bluetooth USB for my desktop and am going to set up a network to my 3975.

I am going to get DSL for my desktop and surf on my ppc if desired.

One thing though is I will have to leave my desktop on all the time.

So my questions are

1) does that cause any problems for the tower

and

2) Can I turn off my desktop from my ppc using Bluetooth and/or some program like Terminal Services Client?

If (2) is possible - how have people configured it to work?

Thanks a lot for your much appreciated help!

i couldnt find anyway to turn off the pc over BT using any device, my pda or my mobile phone.
the reason is what ever i do, the BT connection refuses to shut down. so the system cancels you request

You tried Terminal Services Client and this happened? 8O I'm quite surprised, as you can do it over WiFi, dialup or other means...

VNC might work, but its a tcpip client, so unless some how you are connecting to your pc by tcpip, and you have its local network IP, you can connect to it.

This is why wifi is so much better, get an accesspoint.. and wifi card.
