She's released a new series of matching Pocket PC themes and desktop wallpapers.

This series is named "Inspirational" because it includes ten scenes, each with an inspirational message. The desktop wallpapers are available in three resolutions, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200. Both the Pocket PC and desktop images are beautiful, with fantastic colors and resolution.

You can take a look at all ten images by going to the McDeb site. That's also where you'll need to go to purchase this set. The complete set of ten Pocket PC themes and ten desktop wallpapers is only $10. If I do my math correctly, that comes to about a buck per image. That's a small price for such great images.

Even the freebie set, "Attitude", is very well done. I just purchased these for my use; even if I don't use them together, I still like how well these were designed. :)

Cool, I never thought of having my PPC theme and desktop wallpaper match. That's a great idea!

(on a side, doesn't that look like a shark sticking its head up above VISION?)

While I was making the original post I couldn't remember the product that these remind me of. I finally did: Successories.

http://www.successories.com/

This is the company that makes all those little motivational things for your office wall or desk.

Now, if you're not a fan of Successories and want to see one company's response to their products, take a look at Despair's Demotivators:

http://www.despair.com/

This parody site offers such "unmotivating" posters as the one that has a photo of some French fries with the caption "Not Everyone Gets To Be An Astronaut When They Grow Up." :)

First, thanks for the mention, Brad. I appreciate it.

Yes. The original idea came from Successories. I have 10 framed Successories prints hanging in my office, and I've always liked them. Of course, I would not use their copyrighted works, so I made my own with purchased royalty-free stock photos and a collection of favorite quotes.

Look for another series later this summer. :)

Haha...I'm going to be in stitches for the next 15 minutes.

Superb site. I've been popping in every few months to see what they have that's new. Very funny!

I really like the themes and wallpaper. I've downloaded "Attitude" and will have a good look around Deb's site. 8)

I knew you would never do anything that wasn't on the up-and-up. :)

These themes look GREAT and the fact that I can get 10 for my ipaq and 10 for my brand new Fujitsu S6210 ( :multi: ), all for $9.99 may convince me to do something I've never done, pay for screen savers.

Before I do, let me ask a v-e-r-y silly question  , how does one know what screen resolution to select and would you have different resolutions for ppc and laptop?

On a side note, McDeb seems to have been around for some time providing free images for ppc. I think it's great to see her/him get paid for their efforts. And at $9.99, their asking price is very reasonable.

Good luck,

The PPC themes are .tsk files and are sized for the typical 240x320 screens. To determine what resolution you are currently running on your desktop or laptop PC, right-click on the desktop, go to properties, then the settings tab. There you will see what resolution you are running, and can change it if you like.

In future are you going to offer both VGA and QVA theme for PPCs, or does a VGA theme scale down when used on a QVGA device? I would guess that it's the former and that W2003SE means double the work of making themes for you?
