'Stop Time' Fans: Time-out required for alarm sound?

I discovered the freeware clock and timer program 'Stop Time' only sounds countdown or wake-up type alarms if I let the PPC time out vs. actively powering it off. Anyone with similar experience?

"Then let it time out !" Right? I use an iPAQ 3845 running the native PPC 2002.

Have you contacted the author? It's a possibility it's being caused by one of the notorious Pocket PC alarm bugs, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
