Yeah, I just downloaded the second (June 4) version yesterday, and then got the warning last night that it had expired. Time to download another version.

Yeah yeah, cut the crap already.

This aint Alpha 1, 2 and 3.

You dont just churn out those improvements on a couple of days.

This is just an excellent and well thought out marketing plan in action.

That being said, me like.

I generally dont do software coverage for PPCs with the noteable exception of Warfare, looks like I will make an exception for this game as well once it is released.

Fishie: I chat with the PDAMill developers quite a bit, they are adding these improvments in each release. They have a programmer working full time each day on Flux, minimum. It's most definitely not a marketting plan.

Sorry but I dont buy that.

You dont make a game like this in 6 weeks.

And again im all for it as long as its a deserving game and in the case of marketing like this a crap game would be shunned early on anyway so only a good game can pull this off.

Oh and can you message me a contact for them?

Id like to provide some coverage for this on gaming websites and maybe a magazine or two.

I have to admit Fishie has a point, we did have much of the technology ready earlier, but not integrated or polished yet. The game development and integration of these parts have been progressing well, so I think that's why it seems like we're going lightspeed. The project has been under development for over half a year now, and now all the parts come together to make a great game :-)
Having said that, many of the new features we add in a new version are decided during the week, and we try to read all the feedback we get in forums and pick up all the good ideas we see.
Our contact info can be found on http://www.pdamill.com/contact.shtml, but you can email me directly at [email protected]. Any help with marketing is greatly appreciated :-)

Cheers,
Peter Balogh

Thanks for the confirmation.

I have been an insider in the gamesindustry for well over a decade now, I know how things are done and like I said previously, a bad game wouldnt be able to pull it of and from all indications this one will be a really good game.

Im looking forward to playing the final version.
