Travellers and users who need to enter a fair amount of data on Pocket PC will be glad to use this tool.

Read their great article for a full review with many pictures, screenshots and observations. This keyboard might be one more reason for me to require Bluetooth in all my future devices. Happily the Benq P50 should have Bluetooth ;).

I have an XDA 2 with the stupid microsoft stack :( why why why..... (or why not the widcomm stack?)

Anyways, another relevant question is-- can you use another bluetooth keyboard (e.g. the Microsoft bluetooth one ) with this stack, i.e. is the full HID stack added to the pocketpc, or do they use some proprietary locked in system.

(or more relevantly, could I steal their stack and buy a large bluetooth microsoft keyboard for my desktop, and also use it with my PPC?)

It's a Treo 600 sized Pocket PC Phone Edition. Read more in this article (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=227452) by Janak. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.

Does anyone know whether it's been confirmed that you can use the BT keyboard while connected to another BT device? I'm typing this on a thinkoutside IR keyboard while still connected to my BT phone. I often use this combination to check email etc while I'm travelling.

Cheers

Nokia Wireless Keyboard: faster text input improves productivity while on the go
June 14, 2004

Compact, foldable and lightweight keyboard uses Bluetooth wireless technology

June 14, 2004 - Helsinki, Finland - To make entering text on mobile phone applications ranging from calendar entries and notes to e-mail and text messaging faster and easier, Nokia today introduced the portable, practical Nokia Wireless Keyboard. Bluetooth technology connects this wireless full-QWERTY keyboard to the compatible phones based on the Series 60 platform, including the Nokia 7610 phone which began shipping this month, and the Nokia 6630, and Nokia 6260 phones, both announced today.

Doubt it's compatible, but it's good to know other manufactures are already coming out with BT keyboards.

A Nokia BT keyboard? Paired with Ed's phone, he may have a positive BT experience! ;)

Yes, you can. The HID profile is the most versatile of all and will not prevent multiple connections from your device. I've used the iPAQ on that review while connected to my i-mate Smartphone (GPRS), to a Bluetooth LAN Access Point and even to the ActiveSync on my desktop.

Add Brighthand (http://www.brighthand.com/article/Stowaway_Bluetooth_Keyboard_Review) to the list of Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard reviews. The product looks impressive, but I still can't justify spending $150 for it, even if I could use it for future PDA purchases. Still, it's definitely yet another well done Think Outside product.

That's great, thanks for the clarification.

Surur (and others)... Think Outside has just released their drivers 3.1 and it's now 100% compatible with Microsoft stack too... Tested and approved on my i-mate Pocket PC Phone Edition
