:?: So that's my question: is it worth $29.99 to upgrade to WM2003SE?
I may end up buying it anyway?

HP's site? That's the only place you could get an upgrade for an HP product.

Actually, I was talking about the upgrade for an HP 4155, but since I posted this thread, I have not been able to find the upgrade CD at all. I guess I should have bookmarked the page...unless I was imagining it, then a bookmark wouldn't help.

I haven't seen that on HP's site or announced anywhere, but yes, in my opinion it is worth the $30. That $30 will keep me from rushing out and buying an SE device before more of them are available and include the VGA screens. I consider it an appetizer.
Edit: Don't know if you happened across this http://www.hp.com/sbso/special/ppc_upgrade.html#program, but it is the 2002 to 2003 upgrade, for $29.95

Maybe you noticed the big red link to the left of the support pages that says "ORDER MICROSOFT POCKET PC 2003 UPGRADE" but is an upgrade from 2002 to 2003.

I have been reading some BAD BAD BAD reviews on the SE update. Specifically, there seems to be two main areas I have been reading that are affected. One, being the bluetooth is set up worse, drains battery life more for some reason, and has alot of other small isues. This bothers me not, what irks me is the second complain. the GAPI dll is apparently useless in this version of windows. I was reading reviews on the upgrade saying people whent from a solid 30FPS in an emulator all the way down to 3-4fps on some games. AHHHH! no thank you, I will wait for the next CE thank you :D
