Best software for viewing 100 No. 2mB photos on SD card!

I am thinking of buying a 256mB SD card for my iPAQ 2210. The idea is that pictures taken on my digital camera which uses xD cards can be transferred to the iPAQ (I have a xD to CF adaptor) so the iPAQ 2210 can be used like a digital tank.

Here comes the rub - I'd like to use a photo programme to view the images - but I am concerned that the iPAQ could lock up while it trys to display thumbnails for a 100 No. 2 mB images! Any recommendations experiences on what image viewer can take this in its stride?

I am fairly certain SPB Imageer (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/imageer/?en)is what you want.

I move my CF card full of pictures taken at full resolution from my 5 MP camera and view them with Imageer. They're close to 2MB in size. In fact, I then use Imageer to batch process them which makes a copy to my SD card and optimizes each pic for mobile viewing.

It's one of the more powerful PPC apps out there. Definitely check it out.

Thanks - Imageer looks good. Question - can I batch save to SD without compressing images? I want to process in Photoshop when I get home.

Yes, you can keep the original size.

When I tried to keep files at 100% they actually changed sizes - some got smaller, some got bigger - maybe I am doing something wrong. Any ideas, pointers?

I use ACDSee Mobile for this. No problems for me. I also like the navigation and grouping options.
