So, I've used Pocket Streets 2001 before, but I have a question about the new Pocket Streets. Does the new Pocket Streets allow you to export from Microsoft Streets & Trips?

Yes it does. To do this zoom in on an area (cannot be too large of an area, or it won't let you export it)on Streets and Trips (PC Version) and then go to File > Export Map for Pocket Streets > Then it will say how large the file is and then you click "ok" to accept and start saving the map to your PPC!

Err...my mistake, I meant to ask if you could save directions to the PPC.

that part you can't do. I don't know why Microsoft left out that major part when designing Pocket Streets,

I also use Pocket Streets and Streets and Trips, and it frustrates me to no end that I can't export directions to Pocket Streets. I would just be happy if it would export the highlighted route on the PS map. I'm not asking for fancy routing and re-routing, or a voice that tells me when to turn. I just want a highlighted route for goodness sake.

I wish I could export my directions for MapPoint to PS, but that isn't a very important issue to me (as I don't have GPS). What I don't understand is why the names of roads are different on MapPoint versus the Pocket PC. An example: on MapPoint a road is labled as Preston Rd. (it's common name, used 99% of the time) and SR-289, yet on PocketStreets, it only shows up as SR-289, which can be confusing visiting a place you don't know. Just a minor rant, other than those two things, I think Pocket Streets is great, and pretty snappy too, there are a few features from MapPoint I'd like to see on there, but then again, I'd prefer it being fast to it having every feature.

one more thing if i might add....in the older version of pocket streets, i could input any address and it always came up. Now i try putting in even my own house address and nothing comes up....what gives???
