Anyone know where I can find the download for the MS MSN Messenger for WM2K3? I have hunted all over the Microsoft site, and unless they have very cleverly disguised it as something else, I cannot find it.
Thanks.

FYI, those types of updates are usually found on www.pocketpc.com.

Actually I tried that - it apperantly is just an update - you have to have Messanger already installed, or so it seems. Once you do the install from this it comes up saying something about it not being an executable program. I will reinstall and put the actual message here in the thread.
When I first installed MSN Messanger this is where I had gotten it from.
Anyone else had any luck in installing from the above site?
Thanks.

BTW, in your original post you didn't say you wanted the update - just that you wanted to DL MSN Messenger for WM2k3.
PocketPC.com (http://www.pocketpc.com) > Top Downloads > MSN Messenger Updates for Pocket PCs and Pocket PC Phone Editions (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/msnmessenger/pocketpc.mspx) > MSNŽ Messenger Update for Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC/Pocket PC Phone Edition 2003 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/msnmessenger/ppc-eula03eng.mspx) (EULA).
As I said, PocketPC.com usually has what you want.

My apologies. What I am trying to find is the actual download of Messanger, not the update. PocketPC is where I usually go to look for this stuff, that is why I had tried the update. Sorry for the confusion.

oic...so your Pocket PC doesn't have MSN Messenger on it? Is it some weird limited WM2003 upgrade? Strange. I think I remember a DL for the entire thing when PPC2002 was released, and offered as an upgrade, but I don't know if they offered that when WM2003 was released.

you are installing from the PC and not the PDA right?
The error you mentioned about the executable sounds like a program compiled for another processor
