MS Activesync update?

That's March 6th. Hmm, a little strange they did the date that way. Figured MS did US dates.

Well, that version of ActiveSync came out on April 18th (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26249&highlight=activesync+3+7+1), so it definately is a typo, though how that could happen is beyond me, as that is probably all database driven. Unless it is a different build from the 4/18 release (4034), but someone would have to download it and install it to check that out.
Hrm... I just checked my AS, and I have the old build, I think I'll dl that new one anyways.

It might just be a new build with very minor fixes in it that aren't big enough to warrant a new version number.

i don't think that's the official installer. i've installed msasync a billion times before and that posted setup file does not install like previous installs. it don't do that cab extracting thing like before. the wording was also weird and unprofessional, "ENG Active Sync". plus it didn't install the system tray icon so i just uninstalled it.

that whole section of the site looks suspect actually. i notice some weird lil' things like words in lowercase when they should be uppercase on that section.

That's why I don't normally do betas or updates right away, unless it's an official security patch. There are too many issues and often a better update that is bug free is released shortly thereafter.
