Table of contents

When I create a table of contents in Word and then convert the file to MS Reader usuing the MS Reader add-in the TOC does not work in either the e-book or original Word document. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? :?:

I no longer use MS Reader, but if memory serves (and it may not be, it's been awhile) the RMR Plugin does not generate a proper MS Reader TOC.

Sorry, I saw this post too late.
I get something strange with the TOCs as well, when I use the MS Word plugin.

If the index is all the way at the top of the Word document, it does not show in MS Reader. If it is underneath the title of the document, it does. I never managed to figure out why that is, but as long as it works...

i just wanted to write that it worked for me, but xendula's "solution" makes sense, since i always have the title at the top.

weird. but now i know.
and knowing's half the battle
