imate GPRS interfering with Internet explorer on my computer

Intermittently when I put I-mate in cradle it connects to GPRS AND Interferes with my browsing using Internet explorer on my computer it is synced to.

How can I stop it from going to GPRS and instead going to pass through of computer?

I have not connected it to GPRS -- it happens immediately on syncing

Are you sure it's connecting through GPRS? In my experience, when the PPC is in its cradle, it uses the PC connection by default.

Double check that it's actually GPRS.

Also, what do you mean by interfering? What happens?

I've had mine with a GPRS connection retain it while docked. Have you tried pressing the Call End button for about 3 seconds to disconnect GPRS before you dock? Does GPRS reconnect?

The problem happens intermittently--when it is working THE INTERNET on connectivity tapping on top shows PC CONNECTION.


When it interferes--GPRS shows instead??
