I just bought DVDtoPocketPC and really like the job it does. I have noticed on scenes where there is a lot of panning or action, there seems to be a fairly even 'hiccup' in the picture....where the frames stop for a fraction of a second and then continue. Is this caused by the limitations of the screen and it's refresh rate or is this in the processor? Can it be remedied in any way?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Steve

check out the dropped frames count.
mine drops 1/3 of the total frames when playing divx files, and in my case the only thing i can do is to download a better codec or overclock the system.
but if your device doesnt drop frames the problem may be caused because of the lcd refresh rate, maybe

PR.

LCD screens don't refresh in the way a CRT monitor refreshes the pixels are either on or off. This is why large LCD screens only need a 60hz frequency compared to 120+ for large CRTs.

So as has been said this is probably down to a performance problem. :)

Hope that helps

So as has been said this is probably down to a performance problem.
so the only thing i can suggess is to install pocket hack master and experiment on higher clock speeds
