Do what i can do in Outlook? Such as after reading an email, i can simple drop it in my Journal (great for a receipt records)? Or once i'm done a task or finish an appointment, i just make a Journal entry of them? Or when i'm finish a report or paper, again i can just make a Journel entry that directly links to the item?

I've spent the last week searching for an equivalent of these, or as close as i can get, and the only ones that came up often are Agenda Fusion, PI, and CLC (lets not mention the popularity of Journal Bar made this searching quite difficult)... and AF and PI Journals seems very limited. I mean, i can create journals, but i can't link or convert an email, task, appointment directly into a journal once i've completed those? Or can they do that? And i'm just missing something? Because to tell you the truth, these PIM were too robust and confusing for me (i've been using Dashboard just fine). CLC i'm unsure about, since i can't find enough details on it, and they don't offer a trial version.

Oh, and the Journal has to integrate with Outlook. Is there such a beast out there?[/b]

Oh, Franklin-Covey PlanPlus seems interesting... but again, an expensive program without a trial version. Does anybody know if this does what i described above?

Take a look at Pocket Informant. Their journal syncs with Outlook.

But can it do what i want? Can i take an appointment or task i just finished, and directly convert it to a Journal entry? If so, how do i do it? I can't seem to figure it out. I can make journal entries with PI and AF, but i can't directly convert an appointment, task, contact into a Journal entry.

Have you tried the tap and hold menu in PI? Just tap and hold a task, appointment, contact, etc., then select "Journal", and then select "Entry".

You might also want to check out the Journal settings in PI. To do that, click the PI icon in the bottom left of the running software, then select options, and then select "Journaling" from the drop-down menu at the top. You'll then be able to set things like "Mark Task Complete", etc. If what you're looking for isn't listed there, I'd try Journal ActiveSync. (http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_journalsync.php) It plugs into Pocket Informant and costs $8.

Good luck!
