Power lights on 2215 not lighting up while in cradle ....

I'm wondering if my cradle is bad or not.

The power light (charging light) doesn't come on my ipaq when the AC adapter is hooked up to it and the ipaq is firmly seated in the cradle. But it will activate activesync just fine.

But, if i hook up the AC adapter directly to my iPaq using the little adapter that came with it, it'll charge just fine.

Any ideas?

It does sound like a bad cradle. :( Do you have access to another cable/cradle? Did you try the cradle without the USB plug just for the heck of it?

this sometimes happens to me too, i have to push the device down so begins charging

I rigorously jiggled the AC wire around when it was inserted into the cradle, and I got the light to come on. I guess something inside is loose. :(
