wipe and reload windows CE

Is it possible to do this? I snagged a little e-100 that I am giving to a friend as an NES emulator, but any program I try to install whatsoever gives me a "Can't find PocketNES or one of its components"(or whatever program I am trying to use) I think the guy that owned it might have deleated something important, so I am wondering if there is a way to reload windows on these puppys?

You can't reload WindowsCE on the E-100. You'd need a new ROM chip to do that. Also, it sounds like it's just a program error and not an OS error. Perhaps it didn't install correctly or didn't install all necessary components?

well, I am pretty sure the install whent fine, its nothing but copying a file. I guess I will sell this thing on ebay, CE 2.11 really sucks :(

Yes, unfortunately, it is lacking. :( Among other things, I don't think it has GAPI, which is needed for most emulators.
