hi,
I have noticed here and there that when I put my Sandisk wifi + 128MB card into my ipaq 2210 it freezes up...especially if i shut off the ipaq with the card in it. I just put the card in, and the card's led is flashing, yet the ipaq is not responsive and the backlight stays on, the only way to get it to work is a soft reset.
any ideas out there?

as i know this device is brand new and the drivers may still contain bugs.
are you sure you are using the latest drivers?
Well, if I'm not wrong you're talking about the CF combo card, if so, mine doesn't behave like yours, although it takes a few seconds to connect and be responsive, that after shutting off, pulling the card or whatever. Maybe you can try installing the driver again.
Regards.

yeah, downloaded them right from the site.
also, I have setup a VPN connection and it connects ok [i can ping the server or any other node on the network], but if i use terminal services to access the server, the VPN connection drops. I have been searching around for similiar problems but have not come up with much.

Mine did the same thing the 1st install of drivers. I uninstalled and reinstalled and all was well from then on. Make sure you have the 03 drivers and not the 02.

after numerous hard resets, it looks like my ipaq is happy. Any ideas on the VPN issue?
