A year would be informative too - I know we have age polls but if you include a year I can see just how old some of you actually are :)

i dont mean to offend anyone but i dont get the idea of learning eachothers birthdays. a pool of age would have a value of information but it is done several times befoure.

I'm sad to say that so far, I think I'm the oldest in this thread. Kind of fitting.....just today my neighbor's kid asked me:

"Back in the old days did everyone wear black and white clothes?"

It took me 10 minutes to get him to understand the limitiations of TV and film until the 1950's \ 1960's!!!! 8O

I had to use a camera analogy between color film and black & white to get him to understand!

Definitely not the oldest on the forums, though.

I should warn everyone that I am going to :twak: the first person that posts that has a birthday starting with "199".

That too works pat, but you can also choose to respond to the original question, What is your birthday (month/day)

I think it's safe to say that I was but a twinkle in an ancestor's eye.

A bit more presidential trivia: Chester Arthur (http://www.geocities.com/presfacts/arthur.html) (21st U.S. President) changed his pants 7 times a day, and had over 80 pairs in his wardrobe. Now you'll be prepared for that question next time you're a contestant on Jeopardy.

To get back on topic, my age is as follows:

Subtract the age of Theodore Roosevelt when he was first elected president (http://ap.grolier.com/browse?type=profiles#pres) from the year in which Grover Cleveland began his second term in office. Then subtract the number of faces of a dodecahedron (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Dodecahedron.html) from the number of faces of a rhombicosidodecahedron (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/SmallRhombicosidodecahedron.html). Then subtract the year in which the Persians landed at Marathon (http://www.pbs.org/empires/thegreeks/keyevents/491_c.html) to fight the Greeks, then subtract the year that Edmund Spenser (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmund_Spenser) (author of the Faerie Queene) died, and then add the atomic weight of Lawrencium (Lr) (http://environmentalchemistry.com/yogi/periodic/Lr.html).

Is it the number of sides or the number of faces?

You know, it's just much easier to search one of the last threads about ages (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=209999#209999) to find out you were 28 in February.

Meaning you're at least 2 months older than I am.

I'm still 28, but only until June 19th. Does that mean you're 2 months older than I am? :D

P.S. Now that I've given my age, I expect presents.

I'm serious.

A pony would be nice.
