what the easiest way to terminate a GPRS connection in XDA2

On your Today screen in the top information bar, there's an icon that shows your connection status. You can tap on it and then on "disconnect."

is that the signal icon, because when I tap on it, I don't see "disconnect " , it only says connected

Download a settings app from www.gb-soft.cz that will allow you to activate the disconnect button in the dialog bubble.

Even simpler, hold down the "phone down" button for 3-4 seconds, and it will close the gprs connection. Thats all.

yes, there are some nice tweaks to enable the button on screen, as well as holding down the red button to disconnect. Unlike the original xda, holding down the red button will not turn off the radio in xda ii.

With the new XDA II ROM, if you tap the signal icon, it will say "Turn on the flight mode". If you then tap that, the flight mode will be on; which means essentially that your wireless connectivity (phone and GPRS) is off. If you want to turn your wireless connectivity on again, repeat the above procedure.
