Does anybody know ANYWHERE in the DC Metro area that sells the 'new' IR keyboard from ThinkOutside? CompUsa, Best Buy, CircuitCity... none of them have it. Yes, I know I can order on-line. Just want to see the thing first.

Does anybody know when the BT version is actually going to be (ahem) available?

Does anybody know what the difference will be between the IR and BT versions?

Supposedly within a month, I believe.

Ummm, one uses Bluetooth for communication, the other uses infrared.

If you mean the price difference, the IR keyboard costs $70 (list), while the Bluetooth keyboard will supposedly cost $150.

You may want to check out the discussion about the Bluetooth keyboard (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27996) from last week. Remember my mantra -- search is your friend.

Also note that the "Palm Wireless Keyboard" is a Palm branded version of the Stowaway IR keyboard. You can get this keyboard, download the Think Outside Pocket PC drivers from their web site, and save quite a bit of money (you can find much better deals on the Palm keyboard).

I've used the setup before and it works great on a Pocket PC. However, I'm also waiting for the bluetooth wireless keyboard to come out.
