calligrapher question (can't find the answer in the forums :)

I have a question about calligrapher i can't find anywhere (yeah i did search i swear). The 7.x version doesn't offer a trial so i wanted to make sure of this before i bought... can i move the dictionary it uses to id words to my SD card? and can it be ANY dictionary i choose (not necessarily the one that comes with)?

You can download a trial from here (http://www.phatware.com/index-download.html)

I don't know if you can use your own dictionary, but it does allow you to edit a user dictionary and specify the path to it.

I'd contact their support for more info - if someone here can't help you more.

Yes, I believe it does what you want it to do. Here's a screen shot from one of the settings screens:

All you have to do is enter the correct path, such as:

\Storage Card\Myfolder

thanks brad, now that i have a trial (couldn't find one via pocketgear) i am trying it out... i guess you can point to any dictionary file (even on the SD). but i haven't quite figured out the word suggestions yet - they hadly ever seem to pop up for me... is it only when you're using the keyboard and not recognizer?
