<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php' target='_blank'>http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php</a><br /><br /></div>"We are happy to announce the 3rd birthday of PocketPCFreeware. In fact, it's been 3 years since PocketPCFreeware started in its current format. A lot has happened! Developers are amazing and allowed us to have more than 1000 validated applications. We began as a french-only site, but, with a little help from our friends, more than 70% of the reviews are translated to English at the moment and 40% to German. We still need your help to make this site what you want it to be. The database is ready to support more languages (Spanish is ready but it has not been activated yet because there are so few translations)."<br /><br />Those who say there isn't enough free software on Pocket PC should certainly check out their site -- they've been working hard on it, and the dividends have paid off. Of particular note is the fact that they recently added an <a href="http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?rss=1">RSS feed</a>. If you've got translation skills and want to help out in making it a better place, consider contacting them as well.

I am a returning "customer" of PocketPCFreewares and try to give them a help once in a while.
I also have the notion that there is a great deal of hard work, and comitment to the the platform form their behalf.
Their cause is our cause, Freeware helps the Pocket PC platform grow and helps reducing piracy ( not all, but that is a diferent story ).
With one of the biggest Pocketp PC Freeware aplication database on the planet, their current success sure pleases me as a user and a Pocket PC enthusiast.
It is with great joy and friendship that I would like to adress my congratulations, and keep up the great job :)

As a HUGE user of freeware applications on my iPAQ, I must say that this is the premiere site for checking out the freeware scene. They are constantly up to date and as a sample of their great attention to their customers, when the Beta Player site ( http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/ ) was offline they decided to host the files locally to help out.
Good show. Good luck. Good god, you're great!
oh and happy b-day y0

Thank you all :)
BTW we can host some files now (some visitors are kind enough to click on banners and allow us to pay our hosting bills ;) ).
So if you detect a broken link and have the files on your HD, do not hesitate to contact us, we'd be very happy to offer a sort of "abandonfreeware" site.

I forgot about that, I'll start clicking the interesting looking banners at all my favorite sites.

This morning we changed the way the RSS feed works.
Every language has its own link. For instance :
http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?rss=1
(note the en)
But what is new is that when an english speaking visitor clicks on "Read on" in his aggregator, he goes to the english version of the site.
In fact, a long time ago, the last language chosen by the visitor was stored in a cookie. Now, everything is separated in a sub-folder.
If you want to go the the english page directly, you need to bookmark http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php
