May I know if there is any software that improves the alarm clock in the Winows Mobile 2003?

I want a alarm-clock software that can play your favourite mp3 music/songs to wake you up.
I hope the software is a freeware so that I can use it without limits.

Thanks! :D

Many apps can do this. I know the new Spb alarm has new alarms, but I'm not sure about playing mp3s/wmas. I know PHM PPC Plus! (freeware) has a Plus! Sleep Timer that uses WMP to decrease volume over time, but I'm not sure of any that wakes with an mp3.

alarmToday (www.pocketmax.net) can do this, but it's not free...

There's SuperAlert (https://secure9.easyspace.com/www.whittakermoore.com/pf/ItemDetail.php?item_id=12), but it's not free.

Check apReminder+. It says it's for 2003 also.

Also brings back repeating alarms (if WM'03 needs that).

Well, I have no affiliation with PocketMax, but alarmToday can also do this

A custom alarm can: Run Application, Play Music, Open Document, Open graphic, Cleanup Temp. Directory or Cleanup Web cache...

Gilson

There's also Power Start (http://www.schmidt6.com/powerstart/).

The alarms on my hp4155 are just not loud enough :( I'd like louder alarms and different alarm sounds. (The ability to play MP3s or WAVs would be nice, too.) What I'm not clear on it whether the programs recommended above enhance/replace the existing alarm notifications or whether they are separate, standalone programs. I don't want to set separate alarms. I just want to be able to hear the alarms which are already set for my appointments and such.

yeah i'm with you - i need to be able to just replace my existing alarms with mp3s (or louder sounds at least). will alarmToday do this?

What I would love to see is an app that will play a random WMA/MP3/Ogg file (preferably WMA) as an alarm.
