May I know if there is any free anti-virus software for my Pocket PC?
I need them since my Pocket PC is a Wi-Fi enabled and access through the internet quite often.

Thanks! :D

There's also PC-cillin for Wireless (http://www.trendmicro.com/en/products/desktop/pcc-wireless/evaluate/overview.htm). The program hasn't been updated since 2001, but it might still work, especially if they keep the virus files up to date.

Keep in mind that there are as of yet, no viruses for the Pocket PC. No desktop viruses will infect a PPC because they are coded for Intel X86 chips and your Pocket PC has an ARM processor, so it is sort of like running a PC virus on a Mac - it isn't going to happen.

Plus, your PPC can't run scripts automatically. Unless someone finds a buffer overrun to exploit, you'd have to be tricked into downloading a malicious app compiled for your ARM processor and running it on your PPC.

Given that the population of Pocket PCs online is insignificant compared to the number of unprotected PCs online, virus writers aren't very likely to write a virus as they won't get much (any?) exposure since the amount of devices would be very very small.

I knew that I forgot to mention something in my last post.

The most likely thing you'll get is a Trojan horse which does something nasty like hard reset your Pocket PC. As anybody could write something like that and add junk code to bulk the file up, it's not likely an anti-virus program would detect it until people were hit anyway (unless there's a way to hook dangerous APIs and warn the user).
