Hi,
Any recommendations as to a Bluetooth USB Dongle to use in my PC? I want it for connecting my iPAQ, a keyboard, and mouse. Long range would be a plus.
Thanks

I use the Belkin BT 100 USB Bluetooth adapter to connect my ipaq 1945 to the PC. Its reliable but not very fast. But then, I think Bluetooth by design is itself not too fast.
The dongle that comes with your keyboard/mouse should work for other devices so I wouldn't recommend buying a separate one.
Keyboard offerings from Logitech & microsoft certainly do. I've read complaints about the logitech bluetooth stack but can't remember what the complaints were.
I don't have a bluetooth keyboard or mouse myself and purchased a kensington usbkey for $50 which has worked so far.
I don't know about long range... if you get beyond 30 feet/10 meters then you'd be outside specification anyway; wouldn't you?

Out of the box the MS keyboard doesn't support PDAs of any kind, I personally use the belkin F8T001 with the 100M (333ft.) range

TDK, Bluetake and Belkin are my choices. I have one TDK, two Bluetake, and the Bluetake BT300 LAN Access Point. All very nice :)

I use an MSI BToes -
This worked straight away and I was able to update the driver package from the net too.
It set up ActiveSync 3.7.1 immediately with my IPAQ 5550 and also syncs with my SE T610, all in all a painless exercise for the equivalent of $22
